Birmingham: BROS

August 25, 2017 at Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.

tracking.php?code=Xqetn9uF2Zm2qBAiq3Elor

On Wednesday Matt & Luke Goss announced the most exciting reunion of the decade with their show at The O2 Arena on August 19th 2017, their first show together since 77,000 saw them at Wembley Stadium on August 19th, 1989.

Demand has been unprecedented with tickets for the show selling out in seconds, breaking O2 box office records in the process. Today a full UK August Arena tour is announced.

Matt and Luke Goss have been overwhelmed with the reaction.
“We’re so excited to play these shows, we wish it was next week,” they said. “Summer can’t come soon enough.”

Andy Copping, President of Live Nation UK Touring said: “This has been the fastest sell out in history for any live nation show at The O2 and is utterly amazing.”

Propelled by their classic smash hit ‘When Will I Be Famous’, BROS ruled the world from 1987-1992. In that time they rewrote the pop history books.

Since then both Matt and Luke have achieved tremendous success in their respective music and film careers.

Matt began his solo career in 1995 and since then has sold over 5 million albums, played a Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace and just last weekend headlined Wembley Arena. His current single ‘Gone Too Long’ is out now.

Luke is enjoying a hugely successful acting career in both film (Hellboy 2, Blade 2, The Man, Deathrace 2&3) and TV (Red Widow and Emmy award winning mini-series Frankenstein). He is currently filming ‘The Last Boy’ in East Sussex.

Both Matt and Luke remain friendly with Craig Logan who left the band in 1989.

Birmingham: Mrs Oscar Wilde

July 14, 2017 at The Old Joint Stock Pub & Theatre in Birmingham.

tracking.php?code=4WuQxfOOw0uhLwj0vb11pD

Constance Lloyd is rarely remembered in literary history. A feminist, a writer and a mother, she is rather remembered as the wife of one of the most infamous Victorians – Oscar Wilde.

From her childhood days suffering at the hands of her abusive mother to blossoming into a young woman of society, Constance’s story is intriguing and varied. She had her own income, she brought up her two small children almost single-handedly and was one of the most well-known faces and names among the celebrities of London in the late 1800s.

Mrs. Oscar Wilde is a presentation of her life, told using excerpts of accounts in her own hand in letters to those she knew and loved, revealing a wit that rivaled Oscar’s himself, a sense of humour dry and winning and a sense of self that will have every audience member rooting for the tragic heroine from beginning to end.

This one woman show features award-winning actress and writer Lexi Wolfe, whom also received the nomination for Best Female Actor at the Buxton Fringe 2016 for Mrs. Oscar Wilde.

2017 marks 50 years since NTCG Brookfield was established after 10 members of NTCG Handsworth were earlier send out to the Ladywood area of Birmingham to pioneer a powerful Christian witness. Over the years the church has grown numerically and added another building to their portfolio in 2002. This marked a time of great transition as the church was renamed The Rock and branched out further into the local community, spreading the gospel in an authentic manner.

Celebrate with us on this golden anniversary as family and friends join together to thank God for his blessing.

The day will be marked with a special service followed by a gala dinner. More details will follow shortly
