Birmingham: Tristan + Heston Live At The Hare And Hound Birmingham

July 13, 2017 at Hare & Hounds Kings Heath in Birmingham.

”THE BEST OF THE SEVENTIES BROUGHT TO 2016” IS WHAT TOTO GUITARIST AND SINGER
STEVE LUKATHER CAME UP WITH WHEN HE HEARD THE MUSIC OF TRISTAN!
“The best of the seventies brought to 2016”

Tristan’s music can best be described as feel good vintage Acid Jazz music with the energy, vibe and sound of 2016 by some of today’s best contemporary pop/jazz musicians from Europe. Funky rhythm-guitars, Hammond, Fender Rhodes and synths, and a rhythm section that has been playing together for decades. All this gives singer Evelyn Kallansee the solid ground to make her beautiful vocals shine. It will bring you back to that great warm sound of the seventies, with a fresh breeze of influences from the present. Well-produced recordings and live performances often joined by a horn-section, a string section and a host of backing vocalists.

Heston’s music is beautiful, lyrically refreshing, vocally and melodically unique, timeless, rich and soulful.

He has been compared to legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye and Leon Ware for his honesty and musicality. Heston possesses one of those rare, “instant classic” voices laced with confident sensuality – nostalgic, yet very much his own style.

This Dominican born, Atlanta based, ‘Love Junkie’ is a hot-blooded man, unabashedly romantic, allowing listeners to enter his most intimate spaces and thoughts. With his polished voice, passion for delivering stellar music, and loyal and growing fan base, Heston is poised to make a legendary impact on the music world.
