Practicing mindfulness as well as eating a primarily plant based diet have both been identified as two of the key factors in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Mindful-Me is therefore delighted to offer this one day practical workshop in conjunction with The Living Foods Workshop, that will give you the opportunity to learn about the ancient practice of mindfulness as well as how to apply this when preparing and then eating a selection of healthy living foods.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to what mindfulness is and why it can be such a useful practice in the modern world. You will then get the chance to experience a mindfulness meditation for yourself before being introduced to the power of raw and living foods that will let you see and experience some of the amazingly delicious foods that you could be introducing into your diet to start improving your health in a big way!
Following on from this, you will be introduced to the art of mindful eating that will provide you with information regarding the health benefits that eating mindfully can have to your life. You will then be guided through a mindful eating meditation before observing some raw food preparation demonstrations. Finally, we will both mindfully prepare and then eat a raw food lunch together, using delicious, local, organic ingredients.
