London: VegfestUK Trade 2017

October 20, 2017 at Olympia London in London.

VegfestUK organisers have announced dates for VegfestUK Trade 17 – and the UK’s first dedicated vegan trade and media show is to be held at Olympia London on October 20th 2017.

VegfestUK Trade 2017 will see up to 160 stalls with all the cutting edge vegan products coming onto the market, and the organisers anticipate an attendance of around 2,000 trade buyers and media representatives.

Although there has been a strong trade and media element to VegfestUK consumer shows in previous years, and indeed at other high profile vegan events globally, it’s the first time that there has been an actual dedicated vegan trade event, where only trade buyers and media will be present.

“The growth in the vegan trade has been astronomical,” added VegfestUK organisers, “and as such, both media and trade attention has blossomed in the past few years, so much so that we now need a dedicated trade event where only trade buyers and media can attend, ensuring maximum sales and exposure for vegan businesses in the UK, resulting in added accessibility for vegan consumers nationwide.”

VegfestUK Trade will be open to trade and media on the Friday at Olympia, before the well established and hugely successful VegfestUK London consumer event which will be at the same venue on Saturday October 21st and Sunday October 22nd. VegfestUK London 17, in it’s 5th year, will attract around 15,000 consumers hungry for the latest options available for the vegan lifestyle.

“We’ve been running successful vegan consumer events for 15 years now,” continue the organisers, “and are well versed in the unique needs for vegan consumers. However, this trade event will be a new direction for us, and as such, we will be engaging with industry experts and consultants to ensure a top quality trade and media event. Already we are experiencing high demands from the likes of supermarkets, hospitality, airlines and mainstream media to visit our consumer show, and we have no doubt that our trade show in 2017 will be a huge success on all fronts.”

The event is sponsored by original hemp company Yaoh who have been supporting vegan events for 15 years now, and they will be joined by the UK’s first vegan business Plamil Foods, founded by Arthur Ling in 1963, and flourishing to this day as a provider of vegan chocolate and other vegan options.

Adrian Ling, Plamil’s MD and son of their founder Arthur, added ‘’Plamil are absolutely delighted to be involved with this first solely Vegan Trade show. Vegan history has its big milestones;- Plamil’s history, the first vegan company is twinned with the Vegan Society’s birth. Now I’m able to look forward to this new milestone – VegfestUK Trade. I encourage all to get involved as every vegan product sold is one more step towards a more ethical, compassionate and sustainable planet.’’

The website www.trade.vegfest.co.uk will go live for bookings in early 2017. Meanwhile, further announcements involving partners and consultants will be made over the coming months.

London: The Hub 2017

October 19, 2017 at JJ Media Group in London.

Have you ever felt so inspired that you just can’t sit still? That even despite your natural want to sit quietly and not make a spectacle of yourself you secretly long to jump in the air and do a heel click whilst you’re at it? Write a long list, action that list, wish you were in a different place to do it and do it right now without obstacles?!

Have you ever felt part of something, a real community? Had the real feeling and knowledge that you’re NOT going it alone, that others have your back, understand what you’ve been and are going through and where you want to go?

Have you ever wanted to feel part of something big? Something much bigger than yourself, something that may even end up result in being not only life changing for you and your family and close circle, but something that could affect people across the country? The world even?

If you identify with any of these things chances are you will not want to miss The Hub 2016.

This year we’re taking it HUGE with a fresh format and some truly EPIC speakers!

You see, there really has never been a better time in history for small businesses, for creative, courageous entrepreneurs to stand up, to make their businesses the most authentic brands and to build those brands into powerhouses via online presence, marketing and through sharing your gifts with the world. Think it’s impossible? or that you can’t impact people? you’re wrong! After all the word impossible is just this – IM POSSIBLE. I AM POSSIBLE. And you totally are – no one can do things the way you can – each and every person has a uniqueness, it is literally just a case of all you need to do is find out where you fit, grasp that idea, embrace your greatness, put a business structure into place and RUN WITH IT!

Lets think outside of the box. The internet is just at the beginning of showing us what’s possible to do in an online realm – its bringing people across the world closer, opening more windows of opportunity, allowing us to run our businesses and reach people we’ve never before been able to reach. And through our own authenticity – we touch their lives too. How incredible is that? Can you imagine a world without it?

The question is – are you giving yourself permission to be all that you can be? Are you holding yourself back somehow, with blocks, with negative socialisation resulting in thoughts of not being good enough, or big results or impact not being possible for you or in your hands? Or are you perhaps just a little unsure of where to start and what steps to take, or which steps to take next if you have already started.

We’ve got the answers for you. We’ve got the inspiration for you. We’ve got the practical route forward planned out and it will be presented to you across the most incredibly inspiring day of sharing at The Hub 2016.

Prepare to be so completely inspired you’ll walk away from the event just knowing what you have to give is something incredible, how to put that uniqueness into action and how to make it work for you.

Let’s blow this up!

Join us.

The German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott has established herself as a creative and distinctive presence at the piano.

She is acclaimed for `the kind of gawp-inducing bravura performance of which legends are made’ (The Guardian).

Today she offers a chance to hear the charming, intimate music of Grieg live. The composer is the subject of her recent recording project, Wonderland.

She finishes the recital with Liszt’s Sonata in B minor, one of the best-loved and most dramatic works in the romantic piano repertoire, displaying to the utmost the pianist’s formidable virtuoso skills.
