Manchester: MCB – The Nutcracker

January 14, 2016 at Palace Theatre, Manchester in Manchester.

Moscow City Ballet is currently at its outstanding artistic best – winning new invitations to perform internationally.

Artistic Director Smirnov-Govolanov’s version of Nutcracker has an innovative freshness and the orchestra, choreography, interpretation, beauty and outstanding virtuoso performances win repeatedly rave reviews.
Tchaikovsky big story ballets are the essence of Russian culture – composed, choreographed and premiered in Russia. Seeing performances by Moscow dancers never fails to add that magical ingredient of Russian soul.

‘For sheer colour, movement, athleticism, artistry and of course music, Victor Smirnov-Golovanov’s Moscow City Ballet together with the Moscow City Ballet Orchestra put on a great performance, much appreciated by a packed house.’
The Public Reviews (Jan 2011)

‘The dancers are elegant, superbly rehearsed and very savvy. The two ensemble pieces, the Snowflakes and the Waltz of the Flowers, are a delightful triumph for the company dancers Lapshina and Kozhabayev. finished with a dazzling flourish and justifiably brought the house down’
Sunday Express 2010

‘Moscow City Ballet’s Nutcracker makes an invigorating change, for it is executed by Victor Smirnov-Golovanov’s company with rare freshness.’
Nottingham Post 2010

Manchester: RYAN HAMILTON’S HELL OF A (UK) TOUR 2016 w/ Danny Gruff!

March 06, 2016 at Sound Control in Manchester.

Absolutely THRILLED to announce:
RYAN HAMILTON’S HELL OF A (UK) TOUR 2016 with very special guest, Danny Gruff!!!!!

On the heels of a hugely successful UK House Party Tour I will be coming back for my first, full band, solo tour in March 2016! Not only am I bringing Danny Gruff, ALL TICKETS are between £6-8. Yes, really. I want this tour to be about the music. I want this tour to be about growing closer as a community of people who LOVE music and going to live shows. I want this tour to feel like a group of friends hanging out at a rock show having the time of their lives! It’s NOT about the money for me, or my band mates. As cheesy as it sounds, it’s about the music. There are no VIP tickets, because let’s be honest, we will be hanging out anyway. Haha. You can spend the extra money on drinks, or even better, a t-shirt! I freakin love you guys. The support for this solo venture continues to surprise and overwhelm. This is going to be an amazing tour! I can feel it!
