Every February, Nottingham comes alive after dark for Light Night, an evening of exciting cultural and arts events in the city, most of which are FREE!
Illuminated grounds and late night gallery opening at Nottingham Castle and Brewhouse Yard, with FREE entry giving you a chance to see the latest exhibitions.
FREE live music from lots of local choirs and bands.
Star Wars fighting with light sabers.
Food and craft markets, including the Light Night market on Smithy Row.
FREE activities for kids.
Nottingham churches will put on activities and entertainment. open to everyone. St. Peter’s Church will host a plethora of school bands, St Andrews affordable food, lots of activities for families and live music. St Nics will run their acoustic café and offer hot drinks – a warm spot for families. St Mary’s will host art works in the church yard, plus refreshments and choral performances.
