This exciting and informative exhibition in the magnificent Lady Chapel of Ely Cathedral will pinpoint key moments in the history of science which have changed the world forever. From major scientific theories to local discoveries; from the gigantic to the microscopic, we will take a journey through science meeting pre-historic creatures and exploring the latest DNA technology.
At the heart of the exhibition are two original copies of key scientific texts, on loan from Trinity College, Cambridge – Isaac Newton’s ‘Principia Mathematica’ and Charles Darwin’s ‘Origin of Species’, bring together a whole spectrum of scientific enquiry and cause us to ask philosophical and theological questions about our past, our present and our future.
Tickets: £5 available on the door or from Box Office on 01353 660349 (Mon-Sat 9.30am-4pm)
