Newbury: The Boxford Masques presents :All At Sea!

July 26, 2017 at Welford Park in Newbury.

tracking.php?code=7pKfW5VPw1gWk6ZC4eMjuf

ALL AT SEA! is the brand spanking new show coming in the summer of 2017!
Continuing to follow the extraordinary life and times of local Charlotte Peake (poet, mystic and free thinker), we plunge into the 1920’s; the world of jazz, glamour, women’s emancipation and unprecedented social and political change.
The residents of Welford Park, with some familiar staff and friends, all embark on a sea voyage in search of broader horizons. Themes of diaspora and shipwreck pre shadow our own age as our brave voyagers struggle to come to terms with leaving home and finding new homes in unexpected places.
The Queen Anne house of Welford Park itself will become our ocean liner and the audience co-passengers on this exciting, spectacular and touching musical romp across the stormy waves of a new age!

Address: Welford, Newbury

Bristol: Sunday Assembly Bristol: March 2017: Have A Care In The World

March 05, 2017 at Trinity Centre in Bristol.

tracking.php?code=fM2hGrS37rOCP3BV4Xsg9Y

One day my friend asked me, how do you take such good care of your saxophone. I responded, just with tenor love and care. And if you enjoyed that level of punnage then you’re likely to love Sunday Assembly. This month we have Caring In Bristol talking to us, along with our secret blend of 4 songs and readings and audience participation. That should fill out the 60 minutes on Sunday nicely.

Our aim at all Sunday Assembly events is to be radically inclusive. That means that really anyone is welcome to any Sunday Assembly in the world. We’ll do our best to not make you feel singled out or treated differently, but we are human so are likely to err, so please feel like you can message us and let us know if we did anything wrong. There’s a good chance you may feel challenged (to be a better person hopefully!).

Kids are always welcome at Sunday Assembly events.

In the mean time, why not come along to one of the other fun events we run, or even a Chat and Planning meeting to help organise the next assembly! Just send the facebook page a message and we’ll get back to you sharpish.
